Skydive Hawaii had the honor of again participating in the Kaneohe Bay Airshow this year. Our skydivers got a lift to 12,000ft above Kaneohe Bay in a Chinook from the Army's 25th Combat Aviation Brigade. We had the opportunity to take Col. Killeen, Marine Corps Base Hawaii Commander, as well as several news personalities on tandem skydives. Each day our skydivers departed MCBH in the Army's CH47 and started the show with their aerial displays, tandem skydives, and by jumping our large american flag banner.
It was our honor to participate and to give back to the military as well as the local community which supports us. The show was one of the largest of its kind ever held in Hawaii and it was free and open to the general public. It included many large military and civilian aircraft on static display, and other notable performers included the Navy's Blue Angels.
